Sophia Nowrooz | Office Manager



Sophia graduated with a B.S. in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge, and was a member of her university's Health Administration Student Association.

As the practice's Office Manager, Sophia is responsible for day-to-day operations and serves as one of the outpatient office liaisons. In addition to planning, coordinating, directing, and supervising various elements of a practice. She also oversees billing and collections, designs patient services, and implements work policies for employees. Sophia is fluent in Farsi and is committed to providing patients with the best quality of care.

Maria Gomez | Assistant Office Manager

Maria has a B.A. in Global and International Studies and a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She was a member of LEAD,a Pre-Law organization in her university. During her last years as an undergraduate, she interned at the Legal Aid Foundation of the Santa Barbara County.  


As the practice’s Assistant Office Manager, Maria reviews insurance payments, submits claims to insurances and handles patients accounts.

Magali Chavez | Office Assistant

Magali graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside. During her time at UCR, she was a member of ASUCR, her university's governing board and worked as a student liaison for Information Technology Solutions.  Magali submits claims to insurances, oversees lab results, and manages patient accounts.

She is fluent in Spanish and assistas with accessible translations with our Spanish speaking patients.

Kara Luthi | Office Assistant

Kara has a M.S. in Global Medicine and a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Health Care Studies from the University of Southern California. She studied abroad as an undergraduate student at King’s College London and completed Global Healthcare Development and Practices in Nepal as a master’s student.

Kara works closely with both physicians and patients, acting as a liaison between them to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. She is also involved with maintenance of both office locations, scheduling, and billing.
