Welcome!
Who are we?
We are a private practice group comprised of psychiatrists who all share a similar treatment philosophy. Each of us contributes different knowledge from various psychotherapy modalities into the group practice and we all share the same level of clinical excellence. As you browse our website, you will notice that all of our providers are carefully screened and they come from a variety of top training institutions and universities across the country.
What is our goal?
To provide the highest level of care for all of our patients through professionalism and attention to detail. We have experience treating a myriad of psychiatric conditions using a wide array of medications and each of us can act as your psychopharmacologist and/or psychotherapist. We aim to achieve remission, which means resolving all of the symptoms associated with your condition.
What is our philosophy?
To be up front about risks and benefits of various medications while always keeping simplicity in mind. In other words, when prescribing medications, more is not necessarily better. We will inform you of what dosage range is appropriate for the condition being treated, and we are patient about giving the right timeframe for the medication to work. We also work with you, your family, your therapist, and any other member of your healthcare team to help you meet your treatment goals.
What do we treat?
We treat a variety of psychiatric conditions, including major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, addiction problems, and schizophrenia. Several of our doctors also specialize in reproductive psychiatry/women's mental health.
What are our specialties?
Our practice aims to care for patients and their families through the lifespan, which is why we have recruited physicians that specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry. Our physicians are available for both consultation and ongoing treatment.
Do we accept insurance?
We recognize that the ability to utilize your insurance when seeking mental health treatment is a key determinate in access to mental health care. Recent studies have shown that psychiatrists are significantly less likely to accept insurance compared to other physicians (55.3% versus 88.7%), and rates of insurance acceptance continue to decline. This is why our group accepts insurance from a select number of insurance companies. Please call or email to inquire about your coverage. For patients with other forms of insurance, our office will help you obtain reimbursement from your own insurance companies either through a superbill (receipts given to the patient), or direct billing from our office.
